Soya Peas Curry Recipe

Soya nuggets with peas a very healthy combination, this curry recipe can be served with rice or any flatbread. It is very simple to cook let’s learn how to prepare soya peas curry.

Soya Nuggets and Peas Curry Recipe

  • 1 cup Soya Chunks
  • 2 tbsp Peas
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1 Piece Bay leaf
  • 1 Piece Dried Red Chili
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Vegitable masala powder
  • 1 tbsp Salt (As per your taste)
  • 1 tsp Chopped Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Onion
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Tomatoes
  1. Heat oil in a pan and sear the boiled or soaked soya nuggets.
  2. In another pan heat oil and add cumin seeds, let them splutter.
  3. Add bay leaf and dried red chili in the pan.
  4. Add chopped garlic and onion in the same pan and let them emit aroma.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and peas in the pan and cook them unless tomatoes become soft.
  6. Add soya nuggets in the pan and mix them well.
  7. Add all the spices along with salt.
  8. Add a cup of water and cook them by putting the lid on.
  9. Add chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Serve it hot with any main course dishes.
