Veggies Dubki Recipe
For a twist I decided to add veggies inside dubki and hence mixed some veggies in the batter of split black gram lentils, spices used in the recipe are authentic and traditional let’s learn step by step process to cook this recipe.

Veggies Dubki Recipe
- 1 cup Soaked Split black Gram Lentils
- 1 cup Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Chopped Ginger
- 1 tbsp Mustard Powder (Yellow mustard seeds powder)
- 5 Cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Chopped Green chili
- 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp Dried Fenugreek Seeds
- 1 Piece Bay leaf
- 1 Piece Dried Red Chili
- 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Salt (As per your taste)
- 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
- 1/2 Piece Lemon (It is optional)
- 1 tbsp Green beans and grated carrot (for adding in the mixture of split black gram lentils)
- Take chopped tomatoes, garlic, ginger, green chili and mustard powder in a grinding jar and take a whirl around.
- In a pan add bay leaf, dried red chili and dried fenugreek seeds and let them splutter.
- Add mustard oil and stir fry them for some time.
- Add grind ingredients in the same pan and let them cook unless fat separates.
- Take soaked split black gram lentils and grind them, add beans and grated carrots along with salt and turmeric powder.
- Add water in the pan and let them cook
- When gravy will start to boil then add turmeric powder and salt and start putting split black gram lentils with hands forming round shapes as shown in the image.
- Let them cook for sometimes.
- Cover them and let them cook.
- Garnish it with Coriander leaves.
- Served it with steamed rice.
