Booni Raita using shop-bought boondi

In my previous recipe of boondi raita I prepared boondi at home, but here I am using store-bought boondi for making it instant raita and putting it into no-cook recipe category. Boondi raita is very quick to prepare, which can be served as side dish as it is a taste enhancer. Curd used in this recipe soothes the stomach, so adding this recipe in a regular diet will be very prolific for the health, adding freshly chopped coriander leaves enhances its flavour. One can prepare raita using boondi, bottle gourd, cucumber, pineapple etc but the method will be the same. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.

Booni Raita using shop-bought boondi

  • 1 Cup Curd
  • 2 tbsp Boondi
  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala powder
  • 1 tsp Roasted cumin and carrom seeds powder
  • 1 tsp Black salt
  • 1 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp Chopped mint leaves
  1. Take a bowl and add a cup of curd.



  2. Whisk it well.



  3. Add a pinch of black pepper powder into it.



  4. Add chaat masala powder into it.



  5. Add roasted cumin and carrom powder into it.



  6. Add black salt as per the taste.



  7. Mix it well using a whisker.



  8. Add boondi into it.



  9. Mix it well.



  10. Add chopped coriander leaves into the bowl.



  11. Add chopped mint leaves.



  12. Garnish it with mint leaves, pomegranate seeds etc and the recipe is ready to be served.
