Dryfruits Sticky Rice Recipe

As we know sticky rice is very good for health and one can have this recipe for relaxation of stomach. It is also know as margilla rice as it contains starch in it and becomes sticky. I’ve added cashew and resins along with lentils so that it can become flavorful. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.

Cashew Sticky Rice Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Soaked Rice (Soaked in water for 4 hours)
  • 1 tbsp Resins and cashewnuts
  • 1 tsp Oil or clarified butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  1. Add oil or clarified butter in the cooker and dry roast resins and cashew nuts.
  2. Add cumin seeds in the cooker let it temper them add soaked rice and lentils into it.
  3. Add turmeric powder and salt in cooker and stir fry it.
  4. Add 2 cup of water in the cooker and let it cook with 5 whistle.
  5. Serve it hot.
