This recipe is a unique concoction of the ingredients to form a taste which can combine the aroma together to appease oneself during the festivals, as I am dedicating this recipe to all the vratis, so accordingly, I have combined the spices which can only be eaten during the fasting. Those who are bored of eating the same potato curry during fasting can try this experimental recipe. I always keep on experimenting with the recipes and under my experimental cooking I come up with this, and yeah it was amazing! I though to share this quickly with my followers, so that they can also get the aroma which will linger forever in their thoughts. Fasting curry| व्रत वाली सब्जी एक बार ज़रूर बनाए हर बार व्रत में यही याद आएगा
- 1 Piece Boiled potato
- 1 cup Chopped pumpkin
- 1/4 cup Ash gourd
- 1 tbsp Rock salt
- 2 Piece Tomatoes (Chopped)
- 2 Piece Green chilli (Chopped)
- 1 Inch Ginger (Chopped)
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Piece Dried red chilli
- 1 tbsp Clarified butter
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
Take all the ingredients.
In a grinding jar add chopped tomatoes, green chilli and ginger.
Grind them to form a pure.
In the same grinding, jar add few tbsp of chopped pumpkin and ash gourd.
Grind them to form a paste.
In a wok add 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
Add dried red chilli.
Add clarified butter into the wok.
Add grind tomato, green chilli and ginger pure.
Add grind pumpkin paste and chopped pumpkin and ash gourd.
Put the lid on and cook it for some time.
Add all the dry spices like coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
Fry them together then add salt and potato in the wok along with water and cook it for some time.
Check whether the ingredients got cooked properly or not.
Add coriander leaves into the wok.
Serve it.
