Kulfi Faluda Recipe
Faluda kulfi is very delightful recipe of summer season, it is a dessert but camouflage as a drink. It is a concoction of smooth vermicelli, ice cream, glossy basil seeds all are drenched with rose or khus syrup. There are lots of legendary stories related to this dessert and nowadays we have a complete sumptuous version of this dish. It hails back to mughal emperors who invaded India, but the blazing summer season invented this drink which is now a dessert. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.
Kulfi Faluda Recipe
- 1 liter Milk
- 1 tbsp Dry fruits like almonds and cashew nuts
- 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 2 tbsp Sugar (Add according to your taste)
- 1 tbsp Rose petals
- 1 cup Milk powder (or you can buy kulfi mix (but in that case do not add sugar))
- 1 tbsp Khoya (Dried Whole Milk)
- 1 tbsp Roae syrup
- 1 tbsp Boiled vermicelli
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- Heat milk as shown in the image.
- Grind all the dry fruits.
- Add grind ingredients in the same pan and keep stirring.
- Add dried whole milk and milk powder.
- Add a pinch of turmeric for its traditional look, switch off the flame and let it cool down then add rose petals.
- Add it in kulfi mold.
- Refrigerate it for 12 hours.
- Boil vermicelli and refrigerate it.
- Take our kufli mold and plunge it under water and with the help of hand remove it.
- In a serving plate add this kulfi, sprinkle some vermicelli and drench it with rose syrup.
