Rice And Beetroot Cheela Recipe

Rice flour is gluten free so those who can not resist glutenous food can choose this flour for chapatis, flatbread or cheela. I’ve added beetroot to make it more colorful and delicious. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare rice and beetroot cheela recipe.

Rice And Beetroot Cheela Recipe

  • 1 cup Rice Flour
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Onion
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Beetroot
  • 1 tsp Chopped Green chili
  • 1 tsp Chopped Onion
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Pinch Black Pepper Powder
  1. In a container add rice flour, cumin seeds, black pepper powder, salt, a cup of water and all the chopped ingredients and prepare a batter as shown in the image.
  2. Heat a griddle, apply oil over it and with the help of ball scoop or ladle prepare cheela as shown in the image.
  3. Cover the griddle with lid and let it cook for some time. (For fast cooking put the lid).
  4. With the help of flat spoon turn it and cook it from another side.
  5. Serve it with green and tamarind chutney.
