Sabudana (Sago) Kheer Recipe

During fast and even during normal days this recipe act as complete food as it curbs hunger cravings. Although most of us don’t like eating sago, but if it will be embellished in the way I’ve tried then it will be exotic, it will help keeping the stomach cool as it is non fried recipe. Let’s learn how to cook this recipe.

Sabudana (Sago) Kheer Recipe

  • 1 cup Soaked Sago (Soaked in water for 4 hours)
  • 1/2 cup Desiccated Coconut
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Dry Fruits
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Khoya (Dried Whole Milk)
  • 6 Pieces Fresh leaves of (Tulsi) Basil
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  1. Take boiled milk in a pan and add dry fruits and 1 tea spoon of cardamom powder except resins.
  2. Add sago and khoya in the same pan and boil it for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove it from flame and add resins and sugar into it.
  4. Decorate it with holy basil and serve it.
