Vrat ka Paratha |Multi non-grain paratha

This vrat paratha is non-grain hence can be eaten during fasting, one can add or remove the ingredients being used here, I have used a mixture of Amarnath seeds flour, sago flour, buckwheat flour and Samak rice flour. While it is ready-made packaged flour I got by chance in the supermarket, but if you wanted to try this paratha recipe then it is easy to prepare it at home. It will give you nourishment during the fast with the lightness of the stomach.

During fasting it is better to eat food without onion and garlic, even non-grain food is considered during fasting as it keeps illness at bay and one can easily carry out puja and anusthan. Let’s quickly learn this recipe.

Vrat ka Paratha |Multi non-grain paratha

  • 1 Cup Vrat ka atta (It consists of Amarnath seeds flour, sago flour, buckwheat flour and Samak rice flour)
  • 2 tbsp Peanuts
  • 1 tsp Roasted cumin seeds powder
  • 1 tsp Chopped green chilli
  • 1 tsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp Rock salt
  • 3 Piece Boiled potato
  1. In a container transfer the vrat flour.



  2. Roast peanuts.



  3. Add boiled potatoes into the container.



  4. Add coarsely ground peanuts in the bowl.



  5. Add chopped green chillies and coriander leaves.



  6. Add rock salt as per the taste.



  7. Mix all the ingredients properly.



  8. Add water and prepare dough as shown.



  9. Place one of the portions of the dough and roll it with a rolling pin or directly prepare paratha with hand.



  10. Paratha shape has been formed, now transfer it to the griddle.



  11. Apply clarified butter and roast it from both sides.



  12. Serve it with curd, or peanut chutney.
